Geocaching

Jack and Ginger & Jim, Deb and the girls came to visit on Mother's Day. We looked up something called geocaching on the internet that Jim had heard about. Jack, Jim and I went out to a cache that was nearby. It was above Beaver Creek near the corner of Old Montezuma's Highway and the road to Montezuma's Castle.

Using a GPS receiver you find your way to a hidden cache. In the cache were all kinds of trinkets and a log book. You sign the logbook as proof that you were there. You leave something in the cache that you brought with you and take something if you want. It's kind of like a treasure hunt.

There was a rock there that looked like it had been trying to fall for a longtime.

We saw a cactus that was flowering nicely too.
